"Pflanzenschutz-Nachrichten Bayer" have been renamed as "Bayer CropScience Journal"

We have changed the title of our journal in order to facilitate better communication with a global scientific audience.

The decision has not been an easy one, as the "Pflanzenschutz-Nachrichten Bayer" (Plant Protection News Bayer) has been a reliable source of information and recognized by the scientific community since 1962.

Following this change of name, we will continue to provide you with dependable and serious scientific data from our research and development pipeline.

The journal covers a broad range of R&D topics


	Scientific information about new active ingredients, including practical applications worldwide (recent examples: flubendiamide, fluopicolide, spiromesifen)

	New data on products already on the market (e.g. imidacloprid, with contributions in 2007, 2006, 2001, 1999, 1996 and earlier)

	Special issues on topics such as Integrated Pest Management, plant biotechnology or scientific meetings (e.g. Science Forum 2006, “Science and Society: caring for future needs”)

	Background information on products and technologies to crop protection scientists in more than 130 countries

	Appears 3 times a year in English with 10.000 copies per issue and abstracts in 5 languages
